Dr. Lacin has been providing comprehensive restorative dentistry services full-time in Ann Arbor since 2008. She is known by her patients for her energetic personality, professionalism and deft touch. She believes in a patient-centered approach, tailoring treatment plans to address individual needs. Dr. Lacin ensures her patients are always well-informed about treatment details. Make sure to stop her if her explanations become a tad overwhelming!
Originally from Izmir, Turkey, Dr. Lacin earned her DDS degree from Aegean University, School of Dentistry, where she was once a pediatric patient herself. After practicing general dentistry in Izmir and Istanbul, she pursued further education at the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry, completing a three-year Master’s program in Restorative Dentistry in 2005. During her residency program and while practicing part-time, she also worked as an adjunct faculty at the U-M School of Dentistry pre-doctoral program for 7 years.
Dr. Lacin enjoys living in Ann Arbor with her husband, Sinan, their son, Kaan (studies Business at the University of Michigan) and their daughter, Mina (a freshman in high school). Their home also includes a tuxedo cat named Ozzy. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Lacin enjoys cooking, exploring restaurants in the Ann Arbor and Detroit areas, and socializing with loved ones.
