Our on-site dental lab provides a full range of services, enabling us to tailor each smile to the individual needs and preferences of our patients, down to the finest detail. Our 3D dental scan uses an x-ray arm that rotates around your head. While rotating, it captures multiple images and sends them to a computer where the images will be put together in a 3D format. Here, Dr. Moeller will be able to view your teeth, gums, tissues, nerves, and bone structure. We also have a 3Shape intraoral scanner that takes a 3D impression of our patient’s teeth on a screen almost immediately after the scan is complete. Our dental lab also houses the only Precise Implants Capture (PIC) camera in Michigan and is the second one in the USA to indulge in the newest model. This innovative technology is used to collect information on the exact location of the implants as well as the angles and distances between them by utilizing photogrammetry technology. Our latest piece of technology is our cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) scanner from Planmeca and are proud to announce we were the first dental lab in the country to have this brand-new software in our dental office. This CBCT scanner obtains a more accurate and high-quality image of the entire mouth, jaw, nasal cavities, and throat areas. Dr. Moeller can create fantastic 3D images that show the bone, airways, and soft tissues in these areas, as well as any dental work you may have had or may need in the future. It’s this technology that allows our procedures to be incredibly precise and predictable and our patients to enjoy smiles for decades to come!
