Dr. Samantha Capizzo, DMD, is from the Detroit area and achieved her Bachelors of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Michigan. She then received her Masters of Science in Medical Sciences at Wayne State University before heading to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
After Dr. Sam received her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from Tufts, she began practicing as a Dentist at the Ann Arbor Veterans Affairs Hospital. Throughout schooling and at the Ann Arbor VA, Dr. Sam has been focused on her patients’ health and wellness, providing dental care and whole health practices, after all, whole-body health starts at the mouth! Additionally, Dr. Sam prioritizes building lasting relationships with her patients and is motivated to make dental appointments an enjoyable experience.
Outside of the office, Dr. Sam enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband. Both avid gardeners, they enjoy tending to their jungle of house plants, biking, hiking, and exploring all that Ann Arbor and the surrounding area have to offer. As a fun fact, they once housed over 80 houseplants in their Boston studio apartment!
Dr. Sam is excited to be a part of the talented team at Elan Dental Group and is excited to meet all of their wonderful patients.
